We have plenty of opportunities for members of Team NUH and their families to get involved with fundraising. On this page, you’ll also find information about applying for grants.
Challenge 1000 is our staff fundraising competition. We challenge all wards and teams to try and raise £1,000 each year. The money is then reinvested in their area of work. The top fundraising teams receive prizes at the end of the financial year (ending 31st March). Last year teams from across the hospitals collectively raised £117,000 through Challenge 1000!

There are plenty of Charity events for you and your colleagues can get involved with. There’s something for everyone on our events page. Applying for Funds
We work closely with Team NUH to identify the areas in greatest need of funding. If you identify a need in your department that you think will make a real difference to patients, you can apply for funding to meet that need, or you can fundraise towards it. Staff Fundraiser of the Month – Wall of Fame
Every month, we thank a member of staff or team who has gone above and beyond to raise money for their ward and enhance the care of their patients. We’re incredibly grateful to these dedicated individuals.
