Team NUH

This page of our website is for our amazing #TeamNUH staff. Whether you are a staff member interested in fundraising, hearing more about our events, or applying for funding, you will find information below to help you.

Fundraising – Challenge 1000

Challenge 1000 is our staff fundraising competition, where we challenge all wards or teams to try and raise £1,000 for patients each year. The top fundraising teams receive prizes at the end of the financial year (ending 31st March).

Staff fundraising just keeps growing, and last year Team NUH raised £117,000 collectively. You are amazing!

For support with your fundraising and more information about taking part in Challenge 1000 please contact Naomi by calling ext. 55935 or emailing naomi.walters@nuh.nhs.uk.

Applying for Funds

We are led by you in deciding how money is spent and if you identify a need in your department that you feel will make a difference, you can apply for funding to meet that need, or can fundraise towards it.

Thank you!

“These dialysis chairs, funded by Nottingham Hospitals Charity, make such a difference during my treatment. I am often in a chair for hours at a time, so having somewhere comfortable to sit – or lie back – makes a real difference.”
