Thanks to your support, we were able to fund the complete transformation of the Parent and Family Accommodation at Nottingham Children’s Hospital. As part of our Big Appeal, supporters helped us raised over £500,000 which helped fund:
This accommodation provides a much-needed space for parents who want to stay close by their seriously ill child.
Thanks to the support of past patients, a waiting room at the Nottingham Breast Institute received a makeover to help patients waiting for a scan feel more comfortable and relaxed, at an anxious time.
A much-needed quiet space in the Children’s Emergency Department provides patients and their loved ones with a place to speak to doctors and nurses about their mental health and treatment. The Willow Room adds a touch of calm to an incredibly stressful situation, away from the busy clinical areas.
A new playroom is providing a space where children can be children and step away from the clinical environment on the wars. Located near Ward E37 at Nottingham Children’s Hospital, this room is full of sensory toys and equipment, and allows patients to spend time with play specialists in a comfortable and calm environment.
