At Nottingham Hospitals Charity, we’re entering an exciting new chapter. With a fresh strategy on the horizon, we’re set to elevate our fundraising and engagement activities and need passionate, talented individuals to help us achieve our goals.
As one of the largest and most successful NHS hospital charities in the UK, we’ve already raised over £60 million in just 17 years, but there’s so much more we can do to enhance patient care across Nottingham’s four NHS hospitals.
From funding cutting-edge medical equipment and vital research projects to improving hospital facilities and supporting hardworking NHS staff, we’re dedicated to making a lasting impact. This is only possible through the work of our exceptional charity team.

We’re proud to foster a supportive and collaborative environment where every team member plays a vital role in making a difference.
We value work-life balance and flexibility, with most team members following a schedule that supports both the needs of the business and their individual commitments. Alongside hybrid working, we also provide access to regular on-site parking and free travel between hospital sites on the Medilink service.

FINANCE

“I’m part of a great team of people who all support each other and genuinely care. Even though my role involves a lot of number crunching, I still get to hear about the incredible and amazing things that people do for the Charity, and I also hear from the NUH staff about the impact of Charity Grants in their area of work.
“It doesn’t feel like ‘just a job’. The Charity funds everything from kettles to MRI scanners and research projects, supporting the staff and patients at NUH, and we are part of helping to make this happen.”

While we are unable to offer long-term work experience or placements, we welcome university students seeking practical experience in Marketing, Communications, Content Creation, Photography, or Journalism to volunteer with us on short-term projects.
