New fundraising challenge badge launched for local community groups

Big appeal badge

We’re excited to launch our brand-new fundraising challenge badge – designed especially for local Brownies, Guides, Scouts, schools and community groups who want to make a difference for patients at Nottingham Children’s Hospital.

To earn the badge, groups simply need to take on a fundraising activity in support of Nottingham Children’s Hospital through Nottingham Hospitals Charity. Whether it’s a sponsored walk, bake sale, or creative challenge, every effort helps us provide those important “added extras” that make hospital life better for young patients and the staff who care for them.

4th Hucknall Brownies are the very first group to earn the new badge! The Brownies raised an incredible £693 by taking on a one-mile challenge walk, and proudly received their badges for their achievement.

Michelle Dorman, our Senior Community Fundraising Manager, said:

"Thank you to 4th Hucknall Brownies for fundraising for Nottingham Children’s Hospital.

"It’s a fantastic achievement to earn your badge, and it shows that even the simplest fundraising ideas can have a huge impact. The money they’ve raised can go towards all sorts of impactful projects at the hospital, such as new sensory rooms, play equipment, a children’s library, and monthly visits for patients – including animal encounters that bring a welcome distraction to children at their bedside."

If your group would like to take part and earn your own fundraising badge, our team is here to help with ideas, support and resources and once your fundraising is complete, we'll arrange a special cheque and badge presentation to celebrate your achievements.
