Supporting the Trust’s Reward and Recognition Programme

Our events sponsorship funding supports a range of staff events and initiatives that celebrate, recognise, and engage colleagues across Nottingham’s NHS hospitals.

This offer is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the Trust’s Reward and Recognition programme, helping to create meaningful opportunities for staff to feel valued while also raising awareness of the Charity’s work, fundraising, and impact. 

This funding underpins existing Trust-led events rather than sitting within the wider grant application process. Applications and approvals are managed through the Trust’s Reward and Recognition programme to ensure alignment with established staff engagement and recognition activity.

People First Recognition Awards

The annual People First Recognition Awards are a key moment in the Trust calendar, celebrating the dedication, compassion, and achievements of staff across our hospitals.

We are proud to sponsor the Charity Champion category. This award recognises the many staff members who go above and beyond to support Nottingham Hospitals Charity - whether through fundraising, volunteering, or raising awareness. It shines a light on the incredible contribution staff make to enhancing care for patients and supporting their colleagues.

Long Service Awards

The Long Service Awards celebrate members of Team NUH who have dedicated 25, 35, and 40 years of service to the NHS.

Staff reaching these milestones receive a commemorative badge and certificate in recognition of their commitment. To further mark these achievements, we sponsor quarterly afternoon teas and award presentations held across our hospitals - creating a space to celebrate and thank colleagues for their years of service.
