Nobody chooses to spend time in hospital. Our aim is to make every stay as calm, comfortable and positive as possible.

Rolling programme if under £25,000 and reviewed quarterly if over £25,000
Our Patient Experience Grant supports projects that improve the experience of patients, families and carers by providing things that go beyond standard NHS provision.
We are looking for ideas that make a real difference, such as new or improved services, activities for patients of all ages, support for relatives and carers, and projects that promote mental wellbeing. This could include holistic approaches such as art therapy or complementary therapies, as well as additional comforts, facilities or equipment that help people feel more supported during their time in hospital.
We are especially interested in innovative projects that could have an impact across the Trust.
Projects should be evidence-based, offer good value for money and show clear, measurable benefits for patients. We also welcome one-year pilot projects where there is potential to demonstrate impact and learn from the results.
