At Nottingham Hospitals Charity our mission is to fund projects that improve patient care and support excellence across our hospitals.

We are committed to creating meaningful and lasting change in healthcare, backing initiatives that make a real difference for patients and staff alike.

What we fund

Grant funding is available to Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust staff across our hospitals. We support projects that enhance patient experience, improve staff wellbeing, drive impactful research, and add value to services across NUH. This includes: 

• Enhancements to patient care, comfort or environment 
• Staff wellbeing initiatives and spaces 
• Research with direct patient impact within 5 years 
• Service improvements and non-core medical equipment 
• Ward upgrades and children’s enhancements 
• Staff development and multidisciplinary team training 
• Appeal-led transformational projects 

We work to connect what matters to our donors with the priorities of the Trust, creating a grants programme that is meaningful, easy to access, and makes a real difference, while staying focused on our main themes.
