Our Staff Wellbeing and Development Grant help fund projects that support the health, wellbeing and professional development of staff across Nottingham’s NHS hospitals.
We can support staff wellbeing projects that help people unwind, recover from stress or trauma, and feel more supported at work. This could include wellbeing activities, quiet or rest spaces, peer support, wellbeing programmes, or projects that improve staff morale and create a healthier workplace.
We also support staff development projects that help staff build their skills, knowledge, and confidence through training and education. We are particularly interested in projects that improve the wider service or team, not just one individual, through shared learning, collaboration, and teamwork.
We are looking for projects that make a clear difference to staff and, in turn, help improve the care provided to patients. This could include both smaller ideas that have a quick impact on morale, and larger projects that support staff wellbeing or development across a department or the wider Trust.
