People First Recognition Awards 2025: Charity Champion shortlist announced

Posted on: 19 Nov 2025

We are delighted to share the shortlist for the Charity Champion Award as part of the NUH People First Recognition Awards 2025.

Each year, thousands of dedicated NUH staff give their time, energy and creativity to support Nottingham Hospitals Charity – from taking on fundraising challenges and inspiring colleagues, to finding innovative ways to use charitable funds to improve patient care. The Charity Champion Award celebrates these exceptional individuals and teams who go above and beyond for their hospitals, their colleagues, and the communities they serve.

We are incredibly proud to sponsor this special category, shining a light on those who help raise the profile of the charity and make a real difference for patients, families and staff across Nottingham’s hospitals.

Nigel Gregory, CEO of Nottingham Hospitals Charity, said:

“The quality and passion demonstrated across this year’s nominations has been truly inspiring. We have seen colleagues from all areas of the Trust go the extra mile with creativity, compassion and commitment, and it is a privilege to recognise those who champion the charity’s work every single day.

"Every nominee represents the difference we can make when we come together for our patients and communities.”
