Our popular Challenge 1000 campaign for Team NUH is back!

Get together with staff in your ward or area and raise £1,000 for your ward or area over the course of our year-long campaign, and you could win a team prize for your efforts!

The money you raise through Challenge 1000 will go directly towards supporting your area of the hospitals, making a difference to the patients, families and staff you work with every day.

At the end of the year (31st March 2024) we’ll be giving out prizes for the most creative fundraising teams! So get your thinking caps on and get planning your event in aid of Nottingham Hospitals Charity!

Here are a few fundraising ideas to get you started…

  • A cake sale with a twist – cake sales are always a popular way of raising funds, but why not mix it up a bit? Choose a theme, like Alice in Wonderland, or hold a competition for wackiest cake design. Get your colleagues involved and have some baking fun!
  • Fancy dress fun – if you’re able to dress up for the day in your role, then you could choose an entertaining theme such as film stars or animals! If you’re not able to don a costume, then how about a crazy sock or funny hat day?
  • Walk your way – take part in Hike for your Hospitals and walk whenever and wherever you choose. Get your colleagues, family and friends together and take on your chosen sponsored walk. Don’t forget to bring your furry friends along too!
  • Take on a challenge – take on one of Nottingham Hospitals Charity’s exciting events, such as the Big QMC Abseil, Skydive or Dragon Boat Race – all great ways to get the team together for a day of fun and excitement!
