Welcome to your April update from Nottingham Hospitals Charity, especially for NUH staff. Read on to find out how we’ve been supporting young people at our hospitals over the past 20 years – and how you can pitch a project funding idea to our special 20th anniversary Dragon’s Den panel!
As part of a special 20th anniversary initiative from Nottingham Hospitals Charity, you're invited to pitch your project ideas to improve patient care at NUH.
To mark the milestone, the charity is launching a £20,000 anniversary fund and inviting staff to take part in a Dragon’s Den-style pitching event, where you can apply for grants of up to £1,000 to bring your ideas to life.
Ready, steady, paddle! Our annual Dragon Boat Race is back for 2026! The two-day event takes place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July at the Victoria Embankment.
Gather together a team of 17 friends, family members or colleagues, and raise money for your chosen area of NUH as you paddle down the River Trent.
Thanks to our donors, we’ve been supporting the NUH Youth Service for almost 20 years.
From holding weekly youth clubs to running annual confidence-boosting residential trips, the Youth Service enables patients aged 11 to 21 to get support from peers and trained youth workers during their time in hospital.
