In May 2018, be part of a Guinness World Record and become a part of Children’s Hospital history!
We want to smash the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Robin Hood, the mascot of Nottingham Children’s Hospital.
To break the World Record, we need your help! Rally your friends, family, and co-workers, put on your Robin Hood costumes, and join us.
Bank Holiday Monday 7th May 2018
Wollaton Park, Nottingham
The World Record Attempt will take place at approximately 1.30pm.
There’ll also be music and games, competitions, market stalls, plus lots of fundraising opportunities for all ages. All proceeds will go to our Big Appeal for Nottingham Children’s Hospital.
You can make your Robin Hood costume, buy it from our shop, or even assemble it from bits and pieces you have at home. However, it must include:
- a Robin Hood hat with a feather (try our DIY guide to make your own Robin Hood hat)
- a green or brown tunic or t-shirt
- green, brown or black tights or trousers

P.S. Don’t fancy dressing up?
There’s a role for everyone at this event! We’re on the hunt for an army of GUINNESS STEWARDS – friendly, reliable volunteers to help us check costumes and count our Robin Hoods. It’s a great way to meet new people, have some fun, raise money for Nottingham Children’s Hospital AND help us break a World Record for Nottingham! Email Neve.Cairns@nuh.nhs.uk for more details.
