This includes supporting new facilities, funding vital equipment and providing services that ensure patients feel more comfortable during their treatment.
Through the generosity of our supporters, we have helped fund a wide range of projects across Nottingham’s City Hospital, Queen’s Medical Centre and Nottingham Children’s Hospital.
We’ve run numerous appeals over the years, including the Children’s Cancer and Neuroscience Ward Appeal, which aimed to raise over £500,000 towards the redevelopment of the children’s cancer and neuroscience wards. We’ve also supported the Nottingham Breast Institute, which supports patients undergoing breast cancer treatment.

We’ve also been so grateful for the continued support from the ice hockey team, Nottingham Panthers, who fundraise for Oncology and other areas of cancer care every November through their Hockey Fights Cancer jersey and supporting matches.
We’re also incredibly grateful for the support of NHS staff, families and friends and those who have been looked after by Nottingham hospitals for allowing us to continue to provide this much-needed support to patients across Nottinghamshire and beyond.
We’ve also witnessed some incredible outcomes, including Oliver Swift who we first met when we launched the Big Appeal for Nottingham Children’s Hospital. Since then, Oliver has undergone three operations and rang his end-of-treatment bell. His parents, Ashley and Charlene, have been huge supporters of Oliver’s diagnosis and have raised thousands for Nottingham Children’s Hospital by taking on our Abseil and the Robin Hood Half Marathon.
