Welcome to your September update from Nottingham Hospitals Charity, especially for NUH staff. Read on to find out how you can apply for a grant to fund a project in your area. And is it too soon to mention Christmas?!
We know it’s only September, but those festive bells will start jingling before you know it!
Visit our website and take a sneak peek at how you can get involved in Nottingham Hospitals Charity this Christmas.
From our Santa’s Grotto to our ever-popular Christmas tree recycling scheme, there are a whole host of ways you can support your hospital charity.
Is there a project in your area of the hospital that you’d love to get off the ground? Or a piece of equipment or furniture that you know would benefit patients and visitors?
Applying for a grant from us is easier than you might think! Simply complete our online application form with all the details of your project, and how it will benefit patients at NUH, and we’ll be in touch.
Thanks to our supporters, we funded a special residential trip for young people being cared for at Nottingham Children’s Hospital over the summer holidays.
The trip, which is organised annually by the NUH Youth Service, was full of fun adventures like abseiling and paddleboarding. The activities were suitable for wheelchair users, and encouraged young people to try new things despite their illnesses.
