Welcome to your May update from Nottingham Hospitals Charity. Read on to find out how donations have helped to create a special space for grieving families at the Queen’s Medical Centre. And find how you can get involved in our new 20 for 20 fundraising challenge!
Join us to celebrate 20 years of Nottingham Hospitals Charity being at the heart of patient care, by fundraising a small gift with a big heart.
We want to make some noise about the huge impact small gifts can make, and you can get involved in the celebrations by taking on our 20 for 20 fundraising challenge!
Get involved today by requesting your fundraising pack and planning your event – and you’ll get a special NUH20 pin badge when your fundraising total reaches £20!
Our hugely popular Dragon Boat Race is back this summer! The two-day event takes place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July.
Gather together a team of friends, family or colleagues for a fun day out, and paddle down the River Trent to raise money for your chosen area of NUH. Suitable for ages 13+, and spectators of all ages!
Thanks to donations from bereaved families, we’ve been able to fund a dedicated Child Bereavement Suite at the Queen’s Medical Centre.
This quiet space allows families privacy and peace away from busy clinical environments, during extremely difficult times.
