Welcome to your February update from Nottingham Hospitals Charity. Read on to find out how we’re supporting patients and families across our hospitals with our new care bags – and find out how you can get involved in our 20th anniversary celebrations!
We’re providing care bags for patients and family members who find themselves in hospital unexpectedly.
Thanks to our supporters, we’re able to provide essentials like toiletries for those who suddenly find themselves staying overnight in one of Nottingham’s hospitals.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Nottingham Hospitals Charity – and we couldn’t have reached this significant milestone without your help.
Over the past two decades, you’ve helped raise over £64 million to fund a huge range of projects that benefit patients, families and staff across our hospitals.

Meet Jordan Black and his family. Jordan took on an incredible 108-mile running challenge over 24 hours - all in memory of his baby daughter, Aurora, to thank the hospitals that cared for her during her short life.
The Swift family have raised a phenomenal £301,000 over the past two decades, through their fabulous annual Christmas lights display. Now the Nuthall Christmas Lights have been switched off for the final time.
Take on a fundraising event in 2026 and help us make our 20th anniversary year the best year yet! You could paddle down the River Trent at our Dragon Boat Race, get baking with the Big Bake, or join our ever-popular Big QMC Abseil!
