This coming New Year, you can recycle your Christmas tree in aid of your local NHS hospitals.

We're once again running our popular Christmas tree recycling scheme, where you can have your tree collected and recycled for a donation from just £10, which will go towards supporting staff and patients at Nottingham’s NHS hospitals.

People from most postcodes across Nottinghamshire can sign up for the scheme online now, with tree collections taking place from Friday 7 January, 2022.

Louise Knight, Head of Fundraising at Nottingham Hospitals Charity, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer the people of Nottinghamshire this chance to not only recycle their tree in a hassle-free way, but also to support patients and staff at our hospitals at the same time. It’s a quick and simple way to support your local NHS after what has been a tough and challenging year.”

Nottingham Hospitals Charity is also appealing for volunteers to help collect the trees, especially local companies who may have vans available to help with the collections.

Money raised through the scheme will benefit patients and staff at the City Hospital, Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham Children’s Hospital and Ropewalk House Hearing Centre.
