Did you know that you can leave a gift in your Will to your chosen area of Nottingham’s hospitals? No matter how large or small, the gifts we receive through Wills every year make a huge difference to patients at our hospitals.
Over the past five years, more than £7.5 million has been donated through gifts in Wills, making up around one third of all of Nottingham Hospitals Charity’s funding. Those gifts have enabled us to make life changing improvements for the patients and families here at Nottingham’s hospitals.
We recently received a £12,000 legacy for the Neurology Department and Renal Unit, which has made a real difference to patients and staff in both areas.
The donation helped to fund patient safety equipment, mobility aids and improvements to both staff and relatives’ rooms within Neurology, as well as comfortable seating and entertainment devices such as televisions and DVD players for the Renal Unit, to benefit patients spending long amounts of time in hospital receiving dialysis.
We are extremely grateful to this donor for remembering us in their Will. Their donation has had a huge impact on both patients and staff at our hospitals.
