On Wednesday 5th July 2023, we will be celebrating the 75th birthday of our wonderful NHS!
To mark the occasion, Nottingham Hospitals Charity is gathering together messages of thanks from patients, visitors and staff on two giant birthday cards – one at City Hospital and one at the Queen’s Medical Centre – as well as on our special online dedication page.
Head to our dedication page now to leave your message of appreciation and celebration for your local NHS hospitals. It’s free and simple to leave your message of thanks, and we’ll be sharing all messages with the 17,000+ staff at Nottingham’s NHS hospitals.
Samantha Gathercole, who works in our Communications team, said: “The NHS is an organisation like no other, and Nottingham’s hospitals in particular have a very special place in my heart. I’ve worked at the City Hospital for over 13 years now – almost my entire adult life – and both my babies were born here.
“We’re so excited to be able to share in this special occasion, and look forward to seeing the messages of thanks and the memories shared on our dedication page, and in our giant birthday cards at the City Hospital and QMC.”
