Local company to sponsor QMC Abseil and brave the descent!

Nottingham-based company Shredall SDS Group have stepped up to sponsor this year’s Big QMC Abseil – as well as entering a team of ten daring participants!

The Big QMC Abseil takes place on Saturday 18 September, 2021. Places are already filling fast, with participants keen to brave the 100-foot descent from the top of one of the UK’s largest hospitals.

Local company Shredall SDS Group, an information management service which offers document shredding, recycling, scanning and storage, is partnering with us to sponsor the abseil, meaning they will help cover the costs of running such a big fundraising event. A team of ten intrepid employees has also signed up to take part in the abseil.

Lucy Shipley, Group Director at Shredall SDS Group, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Nottingham Hospitals Charity and we are proud to be sponsoring the Big QMC Abseil 2021. Being a local business we are honoured to be donating and raising money for our local hospitals.

“Ten brave team members will be facing their fears by taking part in the Big QMC Abseil, we are looking forward to the big event and hope others join this great cause.”
