Staff and customers at Frank Key’s Daybrook store came together this Easter to raise a fantastic £705 in just one week for the Children’s Development Centre (CDC) at City Hospital, Nottingham, through a specially organised Easter raffle.
The fundraising was inspired by a personal connection, after a colleague shared how their child has received support from the Children’s Development Centre. Wanting to give something back, the team at Daybrook quickly got behind the idea, showing compassion and community spirit.
Raffle tickets were sold throughout the week, with excitement building around a fantastic prize: a STANLEY toolbox packed full of Easter eggs and chocolate, generously donated by Frank Key. The lucky winner was announced in true Frank Key style, with the winning ticket pulled from a cement mixer filled with raffle entries. The draw was shared on social media, capturing a fun and memorable moment for customers, colleagues, and the wider community.

Following the success of the raffle, members of the Frank Key team joined Nottingham Hospitals Charity at the Children’s Development Centre for a cheque presentation, celebrating the impact of the funds raised and seeing first-hand the difference their support will make.
The funds raised will help support the vital work of the Children’s Development Centre at City Hospital, which provides assessment, treatment and ongoing support for children with developmental needs, alongside guidance for their families.
