Welcome to your November update from Nottingham Hospitals Charity, especially for NUH staff. With Christmas just a few weeks away, read on to find out how you can get involved in some fun festive events at NUH!
We’re holding an evening of festive wreath-making at Hayward House, at the City Hospital, on Thursday 27 November. The event is open to all – staff, family members, patients and visitors. Tickets cost just £24.95, which includes all materials, a glass of fizz (or an alcohol-free option) and a festive sweet treat. All proceeds go towards patient care at Hayward House.
Our popular Breakfast with Santa event is back for 2025! Santa will be joining us at the QMC restaurant on Sunday 7 December for a special festive breakfast. Bring along the little ones in your life, or share the news with families currently staying on our wards. Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance, so book your spot today!
Thanks to our donors, we’ve been able to fund some small but mighty speakers for the Radiotherapy department. The portable speakers allow patients to listen to relaxing music during their treatment, instead of the hum of machinery – helping them feel more at ease during a worrying time.
