Welcome to your March update from Nottingham Hospitals Charity, especially for NUH staff. Read on to find out how we’ve been supporting young people at our hospitals over the past 20 years – and how you can get involved in a fun fundraising event this summer!
Did you know that you can apply online for a grant from Nottingham Hospitals Charity?
Whether you’d like £50 to fund activities for patients in your area of the hospital, or £50,000 for a piece of specialist equipment that will aid diagnosis and treatment, you can find out more and apply on our dedicated staff area of our website.
Spring is finally here, and we’ve got the perfect opportunity to get outdoors, get active, and do something special for patients and staff at NUH at the same time.
Join in our 20th anniversary celebrations by taking part in one of our fantastic 2026 events – from our Dragon Boat Race down the River Trent, to our Charity Golf Day, Skydive, and the ever-popular Big QMC Abseil, there is an event for everyone.
As part of our anniversary celebrations, we’re looking back at a project we funded back in 2024. Thanks to our supporters, we were able to fund artwork and privacy screens for young patients attending paediatric radiology.
Two years on, these specials touches are still helping ease anxiety during ultrasounds and x-rays, helping young patients feel more relaxed during their hospital visit.
