Our NHS Heroes are still on the very frontline of the battle against coronavirus in Nottingham. They do not give up – neither do we.
The Covid-19 pandemic is stretching our Nottingham hospitals more than ever. We are seeing more patients, more beds full and more NHS staff working around the clock to help our community deal with this public health crisis.
Our #NottinghamNHSHeroes are still working tirelessly throughout lockdown to treat Covid patients, as well as care for those with other conditions.
We know you are tired of Covid.
We know you are looking forward to when life gets back to normal.
We will get there together, with your help.
Since April 2020, our emergency Covid appeal has raised over £275,000 thanks to people like you who have dug deep and donated to the Appeal – but we still need your help.
So far, we have funded emergency food packages, two staff Wellbeing Centres (one at City Hospital and one at Queen’s Medical Centre), sleep pods for NHS staff who need rest, improvements to staff kitchens and emotional and psychological support packages.
We are also working closely with teams at our NHS Trust to ensure your donations are being used where they are needed most and to support staff in the ways they most value.
We want to raise another £100,000, which will support our frontline workers, hospital cleaners, porters and NHS doctors. They are working tirelessly to look after us – we should do the same for them.
Your donation of as little as £10 will help us support the wellbeing of our NHS Heroes.
They are keeping us safe and healthy, can you please help them?
