Remember A Loved One With Our Memory Tree

Our Memory Tree takes pride of place in Hayward House reception, and represents the special memories that continue to grow after a loved one has died.

Whether they have been treated at Hayward House, elsewhere in City Hospital, or have a different connection to Nottingham’s NHS hospitals, dedicating a leaf is a wonderful way to remember and celebrate a life, and make a real difference to end-of-life patient care here in Nottingham too.

Leaving your dedication on the Memory Tree

Our Memory Tree has 450 leaves. Each one is engraved in tribute to a loved one or in recognition of our staff.

You have a choice of three leaf options for your dedication, each with a suggested donation amount.

Bronze - £90
Silver - £150
Gold - £250

After selecting your leaf and donation amount, you can choose a personal message to have engraved. Once your leaf has been added to the tree you will be invited to Hayward House to view it in person.

Your leaf will remain on the Memory Tree for one year. At the end of this period you will be invited to renew your leaf for another year or have it delivered to you in a special keepsake box to treasure at home.

Please note, funds raised for this appeal may be used for other, similar projects for the benefit of patients if our target is exceeded or not met, or if the appeal purposes cannot be fulfilled.

The Hayward House Memory Tree was designed and installed by artist Claudia Ashley-Brown.

Leaves are laser engraved brushed bronze, silver or gold effect, in return for an appropriate donation or subject to availability. Due to the limited number of leaves, any donation for a leaf is in addition to any funds already received. We are unable to back date donations to purchase a leaf.

Leaves will remain on the tree for one year, starting from the installation date. After this period, you will offered the opportunity to renew for a further 12 months. If you do not wish to renew your dedication, your leaf will be sent to you in a keepsake box.

The leaf will appear exactly as written – Nottingham Hospitals Charity is not responsible for mis-spelling.

Nottingham Hospitals Charity has the right to decline any donation or choice of wording for inscription, including promotional messaging. Nottingham Hospitals Charity reserves the right to move or relocate the Memory Tree to another appropriate site within the Hayward House premises.
