Welcome to your local charity at the heart of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, supporting the best health care for all our patients.
We are committed to harnessing the power of your donations, as well as the energy of our fundraisers and others who volunteer their time to enhance care at Nottingham’s hospitals. Your donations help fund improvements in the following key areas:
- Life-saving equipment
- Staff development
- Medical research
- Enhanced facilities
All of the money we raise through donations and fundraising is invested in Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The Trust is made up of your local hospitals – Nottingham City Hospital, the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham Children’s Hospital and Ropewalk House.
We work with local people, volunteers, patients, businesses and staff to fund additional support, such as:
- new facilities, family-friendly wards and comfortable environments for visitors.
- the latest specialist equipment, such as state-of-the-art ultrasound scanners.
- medical research for a variety of conditions such as breast cancer, dementia and osteoarthritis.
- funding innovative staff leadership and development programmes that help hospital staff provide the best possible care.
You can support whichever cause, ward, or area is closest to your heart at Nottingham’s hospitals. You can be assured that your donation will be used to help patients in the area of medical care you have chosen. Supporting your local charity ensures that you are an essential partner in helping to make hospital care in Nottingham the best that it can be – and for that we are so grateful.
