The ideal candidate will be a highly organised individual who enjoys bringing order to systems with a keen eye for detail, a questioning mind and the confidence to follow up with questions wherever necessary. They will be flexible and able to demonstrate a strong element of initiative.


Excellent interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to build & manage internal & external relationships with a wide variety of people at all levels.


The role will report to the Grants Manager and provide support within the Finance Team to ensure the smooth running of the Charity’s grant-making programme and requires a good level of numeracy and literacy skills. You will need the ability to keep pace in a busy environment and manage your time effectively. You should have excellent IT skills, be well organised and have a sensitive and proactive approach to work.

Nottingham Hospitals Charity exists to enhance patient care at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUHT) comprised of: Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham City Hospital and Ropewalk House. Donations to the Charity are used to benefit NUHT patients and help families and carers by providing specialist equipment; medical research; new builds and refurbishments; staff development programmes and other services and support.
