Nottingham Hospitals Charity is thanking NHS staff in Nottingham this Valentine’s Day. The Charity team is visiting every single ward at QMC and City hospitals to personally thank NHS staff for the amazing work they do. Importantly, the team is also delivering a goody bag of edible Valentine’s Day treats to each ward.
Charity Chief Executive Barbara Cathcart says:
As Valentine’s Day is traditionally a day to show how much you care about and appreciate those close to you our team is taking the opportunity to show staff at Nottingham Hospitals how much we appreciate everything they do.
Not only do our NHS staff do a fantastic job of providing excellent care for patients, but many also go the extra mile by raising money for their ward or department. Over the last year our NHS staff raised a phenomenal £116,732 for the Charity. So we think one special day of thanking and showing them our appreciation is the least we can do!
On Valentine’s Day Nottingham Hospitals Charity’s team will be armed with bags full of edible chocolate hearts and biscuits, as well as their new 2019 Fundraising Events Booklet, packed with a huge range of exciting fundraising events for the coming year.
