On Valentine’s Day this year we are giving our frontline NHS teams in Nottingham some love to thank them for all they do! We are visiting each and every single frontline ward and unit across QMC and City Hospitals with a special goody bag containing heart-shaped biscuits and chocolates.
Our Chief Executive Barbara Cathcart, says: “Valentine’s Day is traditionally a day to show how much you care about and appreciate those close to you. This year our team is taking the opportunity to show our NHS staff at our hospitals here in Nottingham how much we appreciate everything they do.
“Not only do staff at Nottingham Hospitals do a wonderful job of providing care for patients and families, but many also go the extra mile by taking part in fundraising events, to raise money for their ward or department. So we think one special day of thanking them and showing them our appreciation is the least we can do!”
Each ward and clinical area of Nottingham City Hospital and Queen’s Medical Centre will receive a bag of edible heart-shaped treats to share, along with information about events and activities to get involved with in 2020.
