Job Title: Community Fundraiser
Salary: £18,000 to £22,000
Terms: Permanent – 37.5 hours per week
Reports to: Community Fundraising Manager
Location: Based on the City Hospital campus, with a requirement for the post holder to work from the QMC campus as required. The Trust operates a shuttle bus for this purpose.
Nottingham Hospitals Charity is one of the leading regional health-focused charities helping to enhance Nottingham’s NHS services and engaging annually with thousands of supporters, fundraisers, staff and corporate stakeholders.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to work with the Fundraising team to develop relationships through providing excellent stewardship in order to increase income across Nottingham and the surrounding area. You may have previously worked in the charity sector, events marketing or PR but crucially you will need to be a team player with excellent communication and people skills.
In this role you will promote and implement a range of fundraising events and community fundraising initiatives. You will also recruit and support a network of supporters that carry out their own fundraising for the hospital charity. Digital Fundraising is a core part of our strategy and you will be expected to use various digital fundraising platforms to reach and engage with our supporters.
We are looking for somebody that is flexible, resilient and prepared to manage a busy and varied workload.
