This Valentine’s week we want to share the love with our amazing NHS staff in Nottingham – and we need your help.
After an extremely challenging year, we want to let our NHS workers at Nottingham Hospitals know how much they are loved and appreciated.
This week, you can make a donation to Nottingham Hospitals and share your messages of support and gratitude for our health workers on our special Valentine’s page here.
We’ve also partnered with Nottinghamshire Live, who are helping us spread the love and share messages of support from across the local community – you can leave a message on their website here.
Barbara Cathcart, Chief Executive at Nottingham Hospitals Charity said: “It’s been an extremely challenging past year for our NHS staff, and this Valentine’s Day we want to do something special to show them how loved and appreciated they are.
“Staff at Nottingham Hospitals have worked tirelessly to care for us and keep us safe, under unprecedented circumstances, and we are so grateful to them for all they have done and are continuing to do.
“I hope people across Nottingham will join me in leaving their messages of thanks and support for our amazing NHS staff this Valentine’s Day.”
One message of thanks, from former Covid patient Ian Pointer, reads: “I wish to send my love and gratitude to all the wonderful staff of the NHS, who without question or hesitation helped me through one of the most scary and difficult times of my life.
“The dedication and support given to me and my family is what makes the NHS the best in the world. So from my family and friends to all you wonderful paramedics, doctors, cleaners, porters, specialists, and last but by no means least, you fantastic nurses, and those I forgot to mention. We thank you and we love you.”
Thank you to our amazing NHS workers for everything you do for us.
