Saddle up for Cycle Live in aid of Nottingham Hospitals Charity

With the arrival of the New Year and many people keen to get fit and do something for a good cause in the coming year, now is the perfect time to sign up to Cycle Live 2019!

Cycle Live takes place around the lanes and scenic countryside of Nottinghamshire on Sunday 23 June and there are distances to suit cyclists of all abilities, ranging from 25 to 125 miles.

This year’s Charity Partner is once again Nottingham Hospitals Charity, with many cyclists choosing to support the Charity’s Big Appeal for Nottingham Children’s Hospital. Riders in last year’s Cycle Live raised a fantastic £25,000 for Nottingham Hospitals Charity.

Chris Simon, Managing Director at Nottingham-based Perfect Motion, which organises Cycle Live, said: “We are really pleased to once again be supporting Nottingham Hospitals Charity at this year’s Cycle Live. Our riders raised a fantastic amount for the Charity at last year’s event, and we hope to see more of the same in 2019.

“This year’s event will feature the more challenging 100 and 125 mile routes, along with the family-friendly shorter routes. We hope to see lots of local families and businesses coming together to take part and enjoy a great day of cycling.”

Nigel Gregory, Director of Development at Nottingham Hospitals Charity, said: “We’re delighted to be the chosen Charity Partner for Cycle Live for the second year. This is a fantastic, family-friendly event, which I hope the people of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire will continue to get behind.

“With many of us making New Year’s Resolutions to get fit or do something for charity, what better time to sign up for Cycle Live in aid of Nottingham Hospitals Charity? We know many of last year’s riders and fundraisers enjoyed the event so much that they have signed up again for 2019, and we hope they will be joined by lots of new faces as well.”
