Supporters of Nottingham Hospitals Charity will take part in a 5k with a difference on Sunday 19 June when they enter the city’s Fun Colour Rush.
Participants will enter a world of bold colour while they walk, skip or dance their way round the course at the National Watersports Centre, getting covered head to toe in rainbow colours each kilometre of the way.
Cardiology Research Nurse Maria Colton, who works at the City Hospital, is entering the run with her partner James and their five year old daughter Neve to raise money for the Trent Cardiology unit.
Maria says: “The Fun Colour Run looks like a great day and an amazingly fun introduction to running events for my daughter. I’m sure we will end up doing a little bit of everything from running, walking dancing and skipping.
“Our daughter is so excited about taking part and asks almost every day if we are doing the run today!”
There are still tickets available at half price for those raising money for the Charity. To enter, go to: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/nottingham-fun-colour-rush-tickets-21627705048
