What can you do to help?
Zephyr’s is supported by a community of bereaved families, and funded entirely by the generosity of donors and fundraisers. With your help we can continue to provide compassionate care.
How your input helps?
Zephyr’s relies entirely on the generosity of people like you. Through your donations we are able to support families who have experienced terrible loss at a time when they should be most joyful. You can help in many ways, from holding your own fundraising activity to taking part in one of our events.
Zephyr's, born out of a family's experience of loss Zephyr’s was opened in April 2017 with the help of Carly and Martin, a local couple who fundraised for the centre in memory of their first son Zephyr, who was stillborn. Although the couple were grateful for the care and compassion they received, they found it difficult to return to the hospital’s clinical areas after their loss. The bereavement support they were given meant they had to go back to the maternity ward where every sight and sound echoed painful memories. They dreamed of an alternative – a better place to support grieving families. Zephyr’s is a safe and homely place where it is okay not to be okay.
